DriveState

Where learning becomes performance.

DriveState is a Performance Learning platform where learners practice real conversations out loud with a lifelike AI counterpart, receive coaching after every exchange, and build the skills they’ll need when the real conversation happens.

The gap

Knowing isn’t doing.

Most learning programs are excellent at delivering information. The harder part is giving people enough realistic practice to actually build the skill, without the pressure of performing in front of a group. The video ends, the box gets ticked, and the first real rehearsal happens in front of a live customer or a real conflict.

DriveState isn’t designed to replace facilitators or great training. It’s designed to give learners a safe place to practice until new skills become habits.

How it works

From your playbook to a live rehearsal.

01
Bring what you already teach

Feed in the curriculum, coaching models, and performance standards your organization already uses. DriveState drafts the skills, scenarios, and AI counterpart from your material, not a generic script.

02
Your learners practice live

A learner holds a real, voiced conversation with an in-character AI counterpart who reacts to what they say and how they say it. Interactions can be repeated, building proficiency with each iteration.

03
A coach evaluates every turn

Each exchange is read against your own standard. Subtle coaching tips occur in the moment. A debrief, including what to do differently and what to work on next, follows immediately.

04
Proficiency, not completion

Learners don't “complete” modules. They earn proficiency, built from real evidence of performance. Reporting by competency and by person provides insights into learner progress.

Why it’s different

Built to be practiced, not consumed.

It adapts to the individual

The counterpart gets harder as a learner gets better, and the coaching addresses what that person actually needs. Nobody sits through material they have already outgrown.

A safe place to practice

No audience, no stakes, no judgment, and as many repetitions as it takes. People try the hard thing here first, so the real conversation isn't the first attempt.

Built from your material

Your own curriculum and standards become the scenarios and the proficiency goals. Not a generic library, and not somebody else's idea of good.

Fits how you already work

Launch it from the LMS you already run and learners arrive already identified, or use it standalone with passwordless sign-in. No new passwords, no new system to adopt.

Who it’s for

Anywhere getting the conversation right matters.

A sales floor. A manager’s first hard feedback conversation. Colleagues learning to work across different communication styles. A service counter, a support line, an onboarding call, a consultation. Anywhere a real conversation shapes the outcome, and the cost of learning it live, on a real person, is high.

Trust and data

Practice conversations are personal. We treat them that way.

Reporting shows proficiency, never individual conversations. What someone said while they were still getting it wrong is not shared with their manager, their organization, or anyone else. That is the whole point of a safe place to practice: it only works if it is genuinely safe.

No third-party trackers. No advertising pixels. Conversation transcripts exist only as long as it takes to diagnose an issue, then they’re gone. Your content stays yours: nothing you feed in trains anyone else’s model.

Questions

The things people ask first.

Do we have to build all of this ourselves?

No. Bring what you already have, curriculum, coaching models, standards, and DriveState drafts the scenarios and skills for you to review and refine.

Does this replace our training or our facilitators?

No. It gives your people a safe place to rehearse what your training teaches, so it sticks. It completes a program; it doesn’t compete with one.

Does this replace our LMS?

No, it plugs into one. DriveState offers SCORM integration today, so it launches from your existing LMS and reports results back. xAPI support is on the roadmap. It also runs entirely standalone.

What do my learners actually do in a session?

They talk, out loud, to an AI counterpart who’s in character and reacting to them, the way they’d talk to a real person. A coach reads every turn and debriefs afterward, and they can run it again.

Can we try it?

We’re in private pilot with a small group of partner organizations right now, with general availability in late Q3. If you’d like to be in the first wave, book a walkthrough and we’ll talk about timing.

What does it cost?

Pricing lands ahead of general availability. Tell us how many learners you have in mind and we can talk specifics now.
